McKay

This kid gets left out a lot. McKay is so quiet and tends to blend in to the background. He is a great kid though, he has been a little behind other kids socially but that's only because people won't take the time to get to know him. He is the kindest, most loyal friend that I know. He would do anything for anyone anytime. I have never heard him say anything bad about anyone. It's been hard to watch him be friendless for these teenage years. He has found some friends lately and has really come out of his shell.

He has inherited his mom's love for animals and wants to be a vet someday. (or an animal hoarder).

How Times Have Changed...

Remember when dances only lasted about three hours if your were lucky. Your date came to get you for dinner about an hour before the dance. You sat there in the restaurant looking at each other being totally embarrassed. You didn't plan who you were going to ask by what group you thought could be together.

It was way more awkward of course because you didn't have a bunch of people to talk to. But good for your social skills. You ate, went to the dance, went home and called it good.

Now it is an all-day production. With groups as large as they can get them. Then you don't have to actually look your date in the eye. Tanner has a good group of friends though and they just kind of swap dates for different dances and they really do have a great time together.

We made dinner for them at the Alumni House at SUU after they went four-wheeling all day in the snow. The girls had fun despite the cold. They all said it was one of the funnest dates they have been on. They went to the dance after we completely embarrassed them with 5 thousand pictures (which i am horrible at)then watched movies at our house until way too late. They all looked really awesome and it was fun to see the boys act like gentlemen. One more event that takes us closer to graduation. I am really going to miss this cute group of kids.

Luke

Kona & Kato

I wanted an excuse to post a picture of my dogs, and since kelly did I figured it was ok if I did it too. I paid too much for these dogs to be cute, but you just can't buy intelligence. Then some how I ended up with another dog about 9 months ago. He was only supposed to stay two days. He has chewed up, slobbered on, and destroyed everything I own. I threaten to get rid of these dogs almost daily. It scared me the other night when i was watching Animal Hoarders and one of the ladies said "I was put here on earth to save as many dogs as I can", it sounded like something I think I have said before. If you see me on TLC you will know that I finally crosssed the line...

State Wrestling

Tanner took 6th place at State in Wrestling. He didn't think he would place this year but things lined up just right and he wrestled harder than i have every seen him wrestle. He wrestled 215 lbs all year which is 15 lbs more than he weighs, but that turned out to help him a ton when he got to go back down to his weight for state. I'm pretty proud of this goofy kid!

Deletion?

Something happens when you are faced with deletion. I really didn't think I cared about this blog until I was faced with being deleted by Kelly and other family members. I haven't posted for over a year and can't even really remember how to load pictures any more but I really really don't want to be deleted!! So..I am going to get on the ball and share my extremely boring, trivial life with you just so I can remain in the loop of cool people.
